We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through testing. You will work closely with developers and product managers to identify and resolve issues, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Job description

● Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

● Conduct functional, regression, performance, and API testing to ensure software meets requirements and is free of defects.

● Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design test cases that align with business objectives.

● Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies, including the adoption of new testing tools and practices.

● Monitor and report on testing progress, results, and metrics.

Required qualifications

Education: 
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related 
field. 
Experience: 
4+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing. 
Proven experience in manual testing. API Testing. 
Technical Skills: 
Strong knowledge of backend architecture and backend testing. 
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing 
methodologies (Agile, Waterfall). 
Hands-on experience in functional and performance testing of APIs. 
Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus. 
Strong knowledge of database management and SQL for data validation. 
Tools and Technologies: 
Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, or similar). 
Strong experience in API testing (using tools like Swagger, Postman or SOAP 
UI) 
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN). 
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI). 
Soft Skills: 
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality. 
Additional Requirements: 
Knowledge of security testing principles is a plus. 
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
