Reforms in the sphere of urban development have been presented within the scope of «Doing Business» program
Within the recent years Yerevan Municipality has carried out significant work in the direction of business environment improvement including the sphere of urban development. The head of Yerevan Municipality Department of Urban Development and Land Control Hayk Asatryan and the head of the Department of Architecture and Urban Development Andranik Kasaryan presented the specialist of private sector development of «Doing Business» team of the World Bank Group Tigran Parvanyan the work done in 2015 and in the first quarter of 2016 concerning giving building permissions. In particular, they outlined the availability of giving applications at «One Window» service and the significant decrease of the time for fiving responses. The head of «Management Technology Center of Yerevan» Sarkis Manukyan presented the program of online applications at the official website of Yerevan Municipality www.yerevan.am The system of electronic documentation circulation which has been functioning since 2004 has been presented as well.
