“Yerevan days in Moscow”: strategy of “Yerevan-smart city” program has been presented
Within the frames of the conference organized jointly with Moscow Chamber of Trade and Industry “Perspectives of trade-economic and humanitarian ties of Yerevan and Moscow” which is held within the frames of Yerevan days in Moscow event, the strategy and aims of “Yerevan-smart city” program were presented. The head of Yerevan Municipality Department of Foreign Relations David Gevorgyan referring to the process of program realization noted that definite steps are being taken to make Yerevan more convenient for residents and guests and that “Yerevan-smart city” conception is aimed at achieving this aim. David Gevorgyan also added that Yerevan Municipality is ready for cooperation and stressed that during the realization of “Yerevan-smart city” program Yerevan Municipality will be cooperating with international establishments and organizations studying and applying international experience. The head of “Technology management of the city of Yerevan” CJSC Sargis Manukyan presenting the details of the program stressed that technological development and innovative solutions give wide possibilities for providing more effective management in various spheres of urban economy and for development of urban infrastructures. Taking into account that fact Yerevan Mayor formed a commission which takes definite steps towards implementation of “Yerevan-smart city” program. Presenting experience and approaches of Moscow during the round table Moscow representatives assured that they are ready to cooperate with their partners from Yerevan.
