E-permissions for advertising placement
To increase the efficiency of advertising management in the capital the “E-system for external advertising management” was initiated. The program was worked out in 2015 by Yerevan Municipality Department of External Design and Advertising and “Technology Management Center of Yerevan City” CJSC. The system makes it possible for the companies engaged in professional advertising to get electronic permissions for ads installation by downloading the drafts and mentioning the addresses for installation without visiting the city Hall or administrative districts. The system was presented to advertising agencies to take into account their proposals as well.
After two-month testing and additional improvements the program will be put into operation by advertising agencies. These companies were also presented the decision made by Yerevan Council of Elders by which some amendments were made in the standards. Accordingly, there has been worked out a unified form for advertising boards and the time required for getting advertising permission has been reduced.
